About me
My name is Anna Harmon, and I grew up in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. In 2024, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in interior design and began working in kitchen & bath design.
From a young age I have been drawn to design and the way people experience their homes. I was always curious about how spaces were laid out, and what materials and finishes people chose to reflect their own taste and personality.
As I grew up, this passion and interest only grew. I spent many hours exploring house design forums and helping my dad and other family members with renovations. I even began painting houses in the summer for my dad when I was in high school. I enjoyed the art of design, and how even small changes - such as a fresh coat of paint - can create a positive impact on the space.
When it came time to graduate high school and go to college, I knew I wanted to study design. Indiana University of Pennsylvania was close to home and had an interior design program, and it felt like it was meant to be.
One of my favorite parts of the design process is exploring different layout ideas to determine which one is going to be the most functional, while still creating a visually appealing space. I also enjoy creating renderings of the ideas and concepts the client and I have. This significantly helps the clients see their ideas and concepts brought to life in three-dimensional form and helps them to understand the space fully.
Today, I remain passionate in learning more about this ever-evolving field. I continue to learn new skills and expand my knowledge in order to help bring clients concepts to life.
